Originally from Northwest Indiana, Chicago is just the big city next door. When we went on our floor trip in November, I made sure I brought my camera-just in case I saw something new. Boy did I see lots of things. Here are just a few of them...

Such intresting place to live! Wed 30-Jun-2004 20:15

Today is Alicia and my seven month aniversary, and we found it appropriate to bring in some pictures from Valentines day and put them on the site. On the day I kinda surprised her by taking her up to Indianapolis for the day and sightseeing among other things. The first stop was at my house, where we made cookies because it was something we both wanted to do but never could in the confines of our dormatory. Afterwards, we went to White River Gardens where they had an exhibit featuring orchids. Although you couldn't tell it from the 30 or so pictures we took there, we got there ten minutes before they closed, and had to zoom through the exhibit with care.

I had given her some orchids earlier that day, and because of the prevalence of the flower that day it has become the flower symbol of our love.

Afterwards we walked around downtown Indy and just in general had a blast, and as you can see we had a great time. It all ended with a foot massage back at the dorm. Excellente.

So it's been a great seven months, and I hope it'll be a great future.

Here are some pictures Alicia and I took in my (Kevin's) dorm room at Indiana University around the beginning of our sophomore year. Alicia tried to encourage me to look at my own living space from different angles, and we took pictures of common items in creative ways. So yeah, I felt pretty good after taking these and was amazed at how much art could be found in our daily surroundings.

Way to go! Fotopages has renewed my interest (and has given me a wonderful outlet for expression) in continually seeing my surroundings with new eyes. Never take anything for granted Tue 15-Jun-2004 18:44

"A visionary" -- great capture. It makes me wonder what the painter sees and what will end up on the canvas. I enjoy your perspectives and closeups. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on your updates! Mon 14-Jun-2004 20:07

Hi! Welcome to Kevin and Alicia's photo journal. We are both juniors at Indiana University in Bloomington. Kevin is from Indianapolis and is interested in Biology (lab work and such) and is super good at playing guitar. Alicia comes from the Region and is majoring in Telecom/ Communication and Culture (movie and film stuff). She would like to be as good at the guitar as Kevin but that's never going to happen. Soooooo before we start showing you all the pictures we've taken together and individually, here are a few pictures of us so you can get to know who we are.
